Sanda beef to your dinner table

We deliver safe and secure Sanda beef.

‘Tajima cattle’ is a Japanese black cattle produced from a superior breed that has been improved over the years by avoiding interaction with cattle from other prefectures. They are raised with love by farmers in the Sanda area, made into meat at the Sanda Meat Center, and served up as safe and secure beef.

STEP01Breeding Farmers

Tajima cattle, which are used as the base for Kobe beef, Matsuzaka beef, Omi beef and other well-known beef, are born and carefully raised by breeding farmers in Hyogo Prefecture. Sanda beef is made from these Tajima cattle.

STEP02Livestock Market

At the livestock market, farmers designated by the Sandaniku Meat Distribution Development Association receive Tajima calves that will become Sanda beef.

STEP03Farmers who are production members of the Association

Farmers designated by the Sandaniku Meat Distribution Development Association raise cattle in the rich natural environment of Sanda with great care and attention for a long period of time.

STEP04Sanda Meat Center

Meat is hygienically processed at the local meat processing facility, the Sanda Meat Center. Only meat that has passed the BSE test and the Sandaniku Meat Distribution Development Association’s standards is distributed to the market as ‘Sanda meat’ or ‘Sanda beef.’

STEP05Sales outlets and restaurants designated by the Association

Sanda meat and Sanda beef are handled only by dealers and restaurants designated by the Sandaniku Meat Distribution Development Association. We hope you will purchase and enjoy Sanda meat at the designated dealers and restaurants.
